Learning Through Play
FULL DAY PROGRAM
Our full day program nurtures children in a warm inviting environment. Our mixed age group gives the feel of a home away from home. Children learn through play and enjoy spending at least 2 hours exploring nature each day, rain or shine. Little Leaf is a place where children have the freedom to be creative and use their imaginations. They use problem solving skills and teamwork as they embark on the days adventure. Our daily rhythm involves cooking, nature walks, music time and yoga. Children are always encouraged to help with daily tasks such as chopping vegetables, gardening, folding napkins and sweeping, all of which grow confidence, independence and build good citizens. This holistic approach to childcare focuses on teaching the whole child and providing a space where early childhood is nurtured and not rushed.
Our full day is from 8:30am till 2:30pm, there is an option to enroll for 2, 3 or 5 days a week. We follow the same schedule as OKCPS. Please fill out a registration form to enroll.
TODDLERS IN THE GARDEN PROGRAM
The children will spend a morning outside in nature, playing, exploring and enjoying tea and story time. This is a great transition before enrolling for a full day. Our toddler program is offered Friday mornings from 8:30am till 11:30am. Morning snack is included.
